Oklahomans
From the Dust Bowl to the Depression, the people of this state have endured. If you want to find out how just visit
your local senior center. The stories of how they survived will come alive. Wildcrafting is not new to many who live
in rural Oklahoma. It was a matter of survival. The home remedies to the preparation of wild foods are ingrained in
each of them. I have lived in many other states and would choose Oklahoma over all of them for the people who live
here. They are a hardy bunch who know the true meaning of neighbor. No matter the emergency you will always find
someone in this state coming to the aid of their fellow Oklahomans. I will have a e-book available written by Chris
Bridenstein. The book is a wealth of knowledge on wild food
preperation and old tips for everyday life. She not only
wrote this book, she has lived this way of life.
From tornadoes to ice storms any emergency has been met by the people of this state, many times on a one on one basis.
They do not wait for FEEMA here. Below are some sites I want to share with you on Oklahoma.
